Nse was born in Nigeria during the era of BeatleMania and at the time Martin Luther King delivered his iconic "I have a dream" speech.  


She relocated to the United States as a fresh graduate of the University of Benin, eager to teach French to elementary students in Charlotte, North Carolina.  


As Charlotte flourished, so too did the city's appetite for authentic cuisine. Nse's exceptional home-style Nigerian dishes were embraced wholeheartedly, inspiring her to launch her own catering business.  Thus, "Nse's Homestyle Catering" was born, but she struggled to keep up with the overwhelming demand for her most beloved snack, chin-chin.  


Her aspiration of sharing an authentic West African culinary experience across the United States blossomed when she was finally able to invest in the necessary equipment to begin producing and delivering her "locally world-famous" Nse's Chin-Chin™ to a broader audience.  


Still crafted in Nse's Kitchen by Mme (Madame) Nse and her dedicated team in Charlotte, NC, she now reaches customers as far as New York and Houston, and everywhere in-between.

Marking the beginning of a culinary legacy, Baillotte introduces Copenhagen to the art of modern Nordic fine dining.

Baillotte expands its offerings with exclusive private dining and catering services, bringing the sophistication of Nordic cuisine to intimate celebrations and events.

2018

Celebrating twenty years of innovation, Baillotte hosts a gala dinner featuring a retrospective menu honoring its most beloved creations.

2024

In recognition of its impeccable culinary artistry, Baillotte is awarded its second Michelin star, solidifying its place among the world's finest restaurants.
